Green House

Creating and managing a green house is done by installing eco-friendly appliances, building with eco-friendly materials, and conserving energy in everyday household activities. The concept of building or maintaining a more environmentally friendly house may be done if your house is already built, or if you are in the process of building or designing a new home.

Building green or building a green house may be a new term, but the concept is a well known and simple idea. Using materials scarcely and wisely, conserving water and energy, and creating surroundings that are safe and healthy are the fundamental ideas of green buildings and houses. There are many methods and appliances available today that are more energy efficient.

Some methods and appliances to create a green house include: Using recessed LED lights or compact fluorescent lights last longer and are much more energy efficient. Keeping houses well insulated through spray foam made of soybean oil will save money and require less energy to heat and cool the house. Purchasing water efficient showerheads, recycling, using solar powered lights, and getting off junk mail lists to save paper are other ways to keep your house green.
